This is what I wore on Saturday to accompany my mom to do a little Christmas shopping. I bought this shirt along with the graphic tee I wore on Thanksgiving you can see that post here, it was $9.99 at Rainbow.
Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Twelfth Annual Latino Trendsetter Awards, thanks to my blogger pal Ada from Gypsy in the City she brought me along as her plus one and I couldn't have been more grateful.
This year our Noche Buena was a little bit different, usually we have dinner at my parents home and then wait until 12am for gift exchange. But we had dinner in my apartment this year and most of my family due to work or other plans were missing.
Have you ever seen a trend you wanted to try but were afraid that you just may not be able to pull it off? Yes me too! That's how I felt about the platinum/grey hair, crop tops and high waist jeans. All super fun and cute trends, but trends that may not be for my body type.
Happy Sunday! Don't dread that tomorrow but feel blessed that you have a job that allows you to keep all of your luxuries i.e your apartment, food and clothes. Always be grateful for the little things because soon you'll see that they were the big things.
On Thursday December 19 I had the pleasure of not only attending an exclusive blogger's Holiday meet up event just for bloggers & their friends but I was also a featured speaker as well as assisted host & fellow NJ Latina Blogger, Lillie Morales of Jersey Fashionista...

This is a Valentine's look you could use to meet up with your girls after work or to head out to Happy Hour with co-workers. It is professional but the sparkle of the shoe and hot pink keep it fun. The red accents of the lipstick and belt add a little sexy, tying the look together.
